HOWBERT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Colorado Springs School District 11 received a security grant to fund three safe entry projects. Each school, built in different eras, required its own unique solution. For Howbert ES the community was actively involved in the design process and an important feature became the design of an exterior canopy to facilitate way-finding to the main office. Design occurred over a 3 month window and construction was completed over the summer recess by one General Contractor. Total project area is 6,200 sf.
