HORIZON MIDDLE SCHOOL

This project was an addition and remodel of the existing administration area , classrooms, and media Center that followed from an earlier gymnasium renovation project. The administration area was enlarged with an 800 sf office addition which enabled consolidation of the counseling office in one connected space. The old counseling suite was converted to a classroom and a teachers lounge. The main entry was reconfigured as a secure entry /reception check point. A new exterior entry canopy was added to facilitate way-finding to the main office from the parking lot.  This project was phased with the media Center remodel as phase 1. Interior remodel was complete in time for Fall start. The admin addition was completed last. Total project area is 5,600 sf.
